 Diverse in medium as well as style, T'Afo has created two series of original sculpture which marry elements of folk art with the African and Caribbean traditions. The Pibarock series comprises T'Afo's 3D relief images, fashioned out of wood products and "whitewash," a natural white clay that is found in creek beds or banks of North Carolina. The 12 ARTchitecture series consists of intricate wooden towers that pay tribute to different principles of African mythology.
In addition, T'Afo works in a medium that not quite sculpture, not quite painting, but which he calls "Xyphlo," a unique configuring of various wood particles.
